Coffee Green Power Smoothie
- 1 cup black coffee
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 banana
1. Combine coffee and protein powder in blender. Blend on low for one minute until combined well.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend on low one minute. Turn speed to high for 30 seconds and blend again on low for one more minute until ingredients are completely combined.
* This is great to have in the morning if you don't have time for coffee or even want to save some money stopping on you way to work or the gym. It's an energy booster too! I prefer to let my coffee cool or even put it in the refrigerator for an hour or so before making this smoothie. If you don't have time or forget to do this the night before, no worries! Add a couple ice cubes to make it chillier AND even add more ice cubes to make it a frappe! :)
