Hashweh
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 2 cups brown rice
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp all spice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 3 1/2 cups vegetable broth
1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 4-5 hours.
* This is a middle eastern recipe that I adjusted to be more healthy. There is not butter and a lot less spices that normally used. This is called a "stuffing" and that's what it comes out looking like but it is great for a meal itself or any side dish. You can also try it with Lamb!
