Honey Garlic Chicken

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup lite soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 20oz can pineapple tidbits, drained with juice reserved 


1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken thighs until evenly browned on all sides. Place in slow cooker. 

2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, ginger and reserved pineapple juice. Pour over chicken in slow cooker. 

3. Cook on high 4 hours. 

4. Stir in pineapple tidbits just before serving. Remove thighs from slow cooker. Serve sauce over chicken. 

* I've made this recipe countless times for big groups or even just for my meals for the week. It's outstanding and love making it!
