The Truth About Added Sugars
Added sugars contribute ZERO nutrients but many added calories and health risks. I stopped adding sugars and artificial sweeteners to my meals long ago and it has made such a difference in how I feel. If you notice in my recipes the only sugar I will actually add to my recipes in brown sugar. If there is a recipe I find and want to try, I try it without the sugar and it is usually just as good. I have made a habit out of reading labels and looking for "no added sugar" products. Some products will try to trick you but you have to learn how to read the label to find out if sugar is truly added or not.
